Sears, who peacefully departed on November 27, 2023, at the age of 67 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, Georgia. Funeral Service Details

Join us in bidding farewell to Yvonne F. Sears at Bear Creek Methodist Church on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 12 noon. The service, officiated by Bro. Jacob Wilkerson, will be followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Benefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

A Life Well-Lived

Yvonne’s life was a testament to dedication and love. A native of Sarasota, Florida, she was born on October 21, 1956, to William and Ethel King. Yvonne was an integral part of Bear Creek Methodist Church and retired from Woodland High School’s lunchroom. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Sears, two sons, Robert Miller (Alicia), Brian Sears, two grandchildren, Cammilyn Miller and Riley Miller, and her brother, William King (Andrea). Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kevin Sears.

Visitation and Shared Memories

Friends and family are invited to share memories and condolences at Benefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This visitation period provides an opportunity to reflect on Yvonne’s life and offer support to her family.

Lying in State at the Church

On the day of the service, Mrs. Sears will lie in state at Bear Creek Methodist Church, allowing loved ones to bid their final farewells one hour before the service begins.
